Still Standing

Last weekend I wandered into a cemetery here in Durham and found someone had remembered the Conferate dead from the Civil War. I found the tiny flags bravely waving in the breeze to be touching and the fact that this graveyard was in a predominently black area of town spoke of perhaps healing after a bitter period. No political statement intended.
