Compositionally, I think it needs some point of interest, like a person or something that doesn't seem to fit in to create a dynamic; to tell a story of some kind.

Beyond that, I think the steps themselves could benefit from a bit more contrast.

I think by switching and shooting from the opposite side, and getting the "brush" in the photo, it would be it look more full.. Not bad.. Just need a little MORE
