Storing and transporting metal prints

With the increasing popularity of metal prints, issues arise about the best way to store them at home as well as transport them to galleries and art shows. I have to admit I've damage a few over the last few years. Now I am using bubble wrap, but it is hard to find the right sizes. Perhaps there are better ways. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

How do they get shipped to you? Home Depot sells rolls of thin foam that you can tear off like paper towels. Might work good.
