I can fall back on some memory growing up in the midwest (Kansas City). I want to fall into your photo and absorb the smell. Weird maybe, but I don't often think like that when viewing most shots. Guessing it's the memory thing again.

I don't have a problem with that JacaRanda. There are plenty of photos that make me think of times gone by. That's is what makes photography so great.
