A photograph in very cold early winters in Besal, Kaghan Valley (Pakistan). As winters are unbearable in this area, all native people were migrating back to the towns of Mansehra and Balakot. There were mild flurries when I left the place, wanted to spend a little more time there but had to head back because I couldn't risk getting stuck in that area as the place averages around 10,000 feet and weather changes are unpredictable.
Exactly one month later, couple thousand tourists in that area who were there to enjoy white snowy landscapes were trapped and rescued only after tedious efforts by military and the govt.
