it seems the focus is on the edge of the picture on the right hand side where the wave begins in your image rather than across the whole curl. its just slightly blurry almost everywhere.

i like the buoy and that wave is awesome!

Awesome subject, maybe try a faster shutter speed to freeze the whole wave.
