Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Being Spring and all I would expect a flurry of bird activity, but all my normal spots seemed empty. Found a few other critters along the way and even had to go find seagulls.. I had to work in the morning so my light was pretty harsh in the mid-day sun... hmmm.. comments welcome.

Not just a Gull, Kris, it's a very young one. That mottled brown coloration indicates that this has been his first winter.

Very good timing with the right foot just leaving the rock.

I like #5 the best, composition with the rock and the start of flight make for a nice pic.
#1 looks off to me, not sure why, but the background "bokeh" seems "off" or too bright...

Thanks Scott...
ZimPhoto, I agree about the Deer it seemed off to me too. It was harsh light and the background seemed really nervous. I used a denoise on the background, probably smoothed it out too much.

This is the deer without the noise reduction. The background seems strange to me for some reason...

I agree. The background does look weird in the deer pic. Has it been sharpened?

I like #5 as well and don't mind that it is such a common bird

The second deer picture is just shot in raw and imported with standard LR4 settings.. The light was pretty harsh, I think it just exaggerated the nervous background? IDK tomorrow is another day :)

Really love the warbler and the gull photos!
And hey, at least you were out there shooting--between work and rainy weather, I haven't gotten to take a bird photo in over a week. This week isn't looking any better, but maybe I can take a day off the following week.
