Maybe it's the disgusting filth that is 21st Century Berlin which has been defaced, probably permanently, by graffiti on nearly any surface below 8 to 10 feet above the ground. What once was a beautiful city of proud people has become a human sewer wherein everybody pretends to not notice what has happened.

Just a hunch.

The subjects in the photo are studiously NOT looking at the street-level graffiti.

Looking at anything but.

They know it's there, but they would rather not acknowledge its existence.

Given that observation, it is now "street".

Doesn't seem like "street" to me.
I guess we all have our own definition of street though, don't we?

They are nice photos. I just would not call them street.
