I actually met this guy out on the street. Very spontaneous. If you want to know the story you can visit my flickr. Just wondering what people though of my black and white conversion. I thought it came out pretty decent. Trying out some tips another member gave me.

Sorry, Joe.
His face is virtually unseeable, the background is so bright and cluttered as to draw the eye and there is lots of space that isn't contributing anything.
I would fix the brightness issues in color and then do a conversion after.
