I was trying to get some subject isolation. this is the better of the 2 shots i took like this (see the one below) I was trying to focus on the back pepper which I think I succeeded in. More of the subject is in focus, and although the front pepper is not in focus I dont think it takes away too much from the image. I diodnt really have a lot of time as the family were wanting to eat lol, next time I will try one with a smaller aperture for a larger DOF

Same setting as above.
I was trying to focus on the first pepper, but I missed the focus point I wanted and got the grill instead.
I find this shot irritating - I think because too much of it is not in focus

I dont like the background on this shot as I think it detracts from the peppers, it needed to be darker or different colour
