I lived in St. Pete for for 3 years and Chicago for 10- the attitudes towards candid/street photographers in Chicago is much different then WHAT I HEAR about Miami/South Beach. I would like to hear from photogs who have actually spent some time shooting in the Miami area as far as attitudes towards cold approaching people and politely asking to photograph them, impromptu photo shoots in public areas, shooting pix with implied permission ( the sexy girl in the bikini smiles and does not look away when I point my Nikon at her ), any special laws or etiquette that I should know about.
