Thanks!#1 is my personal favorite. All in all they are some awesome shots. B&W really does it's wonders here.
Ansel Adams managed to make his black and whites so powerful and vivid is because he have almost complete control in the whole process, making the exposure, processing the negative, and making the prints. But mostly he was able to manipulate the value of each color through filters.Awesome shots!!!
How do you get your B&W so dramatic?
they are actually b&w not grayscale.......puts me in mind of ansel

I convert mine the easy way using the black and white adjustment layer in Photoshop and adjust value for each color separately.
