Strings in the dark

A local group of artisits is building a temporary house as part of a festival. Each also has their own installation/performance. My girlfriend,a viola player, is building a string instrument by attaching string to a tree. This performance will combine another by someone else using fluoroscent lights, but she used one for light to work on the tree. I liked how it looked and took the photo (keep in mind, complete beginner who is just learning to work with my camera).

I am a complete n00b. However, I think the picture is very cool for what it is. I am sure someone will give a real C&C but I just like it =)

Here is the complete tree instrument. There are seven strings total, wach making two notes (each side of the bridge).
