stuck connector pin/contact

I have a canon t2i and my furthest left contact pin is stuck in the little plastic piece. as a result the camera will only shoot one pic at a time, and displays an error message (i assume, lcd is broken so i cant see) but if i take lens off it shoots normal 4-5 fps or whatever the t2i is.

anyone have any experience getting a stuck pin to become unstuck?

Uh, where on the camera is the 'little plastic piece" you're referring to? The lens mount? :scratch:

Did you ever find a way to get that pin unstuck? I am having the same problem and am a little hesitant to start poking and prodding down there. lol

How old is the camera? Is it still under warranty? If it's still covered under warranty, send it in rather than ask people the best way to possibly void your warranty. If it's still covered and you damage it trying to fix it yourself, you void your warranty and will have to:

a) send it in (which you should have done in the first place) and
b) pay for the repair which would have been free if you'd sent it in to begin with.
