Thank you. As soon as I saw the car, I knew I wanted this type shot and crop.

Thank you. No faked effects were used in the making of this photo, lol. I did heal 4 or 5 paint issues ( just very small white spots ) though. I don't think that would create what you are talking about? The lighting was very minimal and I took this one just minutes before rain started. The car was outside in natural light for a car show.

This is straight out of camera unedited except for size so I could post. I think you're probably talking about the area around the center cone? I saw that last night and thought it was one of those " happy accidents " the painter Bob Ross always talked about.

Expanding the canvas size, and showing the Studebaker ornament with just a little bit of added space below it would really strengthen this shot. I think the ornamwent needs just a litte bit more of an optical "base" underneath. Back in the mid-1970's, I knew an older guy who always referred to the brand as "Steadyknocker", claiming that Studebakers often had issues with knocks...he was a dedicated Chevy guy though, so...
