Studio Ambient Lighting Question

Guys,

Right now, I have plain old incandescent lighting in my studio. I'm thinking changing all the bulbs to daylight balanced bulbs. Is this what I need?

Either way, you probably don't want to mix any type of ambient blubs with your strobe(s)....so it probably doesn't matter.

Thanks Mike. I picked up some daylight bulbs to replace the yellow light I had before. I remember remember reading about minimizing the ambient light when using the strobes, but I would think that the white light produced by the daylight bulbs would definitely be better than yellow light. It at least looks better.

The studio is coming along nicely. I have a nice 20x14 area of usable space. I have all the gear I need to start, NOW... I just need to learn what the hell I am doing.
