Stump On Beach

When I have a rough kiteboarding session I end up further downwind than I desire. One thing I always noticed was the light seemed clean on the beach. I finally brought my camera with me.
I made the background a little less contrasty and added some saturation. Part of the stump was too hot and I was unable to dodge it.

Pretty interesting. I think that a different angle would have helped because I find the other wood and stuff in the background distracting

I was thinking a different angle or different section might be better also. There is a lot of debris.

It is actually on the northside basically behind the airport.

Oh, over by the cargo terminals, near Kahului Harbor. GREAT beach! Lots of chickens, lol.

I think if the top inch or so was cropped out, it would bring things together.

I was debating on cropping the top. I will go for it.
