Our record setting weather broke today and I got to walk without sweating -- just a little drizzle. So today I brought one home that my wife can't rattle off the latin name for (I'm married to a botanist). I'll post it first; it was in my neighbor's yard. If you know what it is my wife can stop searching the internet. The other two are a mallow (sidalcea) I found along the road which my wife says can't possibly be blooming this early and a very fragrant lilac.

Nice images - thanks for sharing. Can't help you with the purple flower - they are all just flowers to me. ;)

I'll guess either Cineraria or Osteospermum on the daisy. The first one is much more tender.

Thanks -- yeah they look like Daisies to me too. Apparently this is some new hybrid that's a hot item.

Most likely. The spring display at the Plantingfields main greenhouse must be 80% of that variety.
