I like this. The Exit sign just beyond his/her head is a bit busy - there's better separation in the larger version, though I personally would still have cloned out the neon lines and kept just the Exit part and arrow. I think that would also make the colors a bit more harmonious in the overall shot.

I like the idea of this shot, even shot from the back.

This sign IS slightly distracting, but what distracted me most was whatever is coming up to his/her backside (railings? Looks like wood?)

I would try to take out any element the viewer cannot immediately identify, esp in the foreground - personally of course.

I think I would remove the seats too. Just saw the edit sash did...that with no wood seats would make for an excellent shot.
