Suches, GA at night

Night photography normally uses some source of light, such as traffic trails or lighting with external flash/torch. Otherwise, you're left with an image that's devoid of any interesting lighting and too dark, such as this one.
 
I quite like the exposure - dark enough to look like night, but still showing detail. However, I don't see a subject. It needs a hitchhiker or something!
 
Thanks for the input everyone. I redid the PP to try to make it a bit better. Not much I could do about the lack of people/cars. This was more of an experiment to see how it would come out. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I know it can be better.

The only light source were the stars and a really bright 3/4 moon.
