Suggestions for WB

Hey everyone,

I need a fresh set of eyes. I took some pics today at the local community building and I am having trouble with the white balance. They have incandesent lighst which is what I originally set up for but there were many large windows letting in natural light which I think overpowered the incandescent lights. On top of all this I was also using a flash. Which wb setting do you think looks better? I like the first one and I think it more closely matches the actual seen. (I don't think the wall behind him was pure white)

The one one the left looks like someone soaked it in a glass of iced tea for a couple hours. I like the one on the right.

I remember reading somewhere that the human eye finds warmer tones to be more pleasing...

This is my delema, I like the warmer tones from the left one but it just looks 'off' The other pic looks like maybe it is tool cool. Maybe split the defference?

I think he looks high as a kite. I also think the compromise is best. Go with whichever ones give best skin tones. In the cool one he looks too purple IMO.

there you go! #3 is a nice warm but not overly so image.

Thanks guys, number 3 it is! As for him being high, he was a singing a gospel song so yeah he probably was. JK I just caught him at a strange time. Here is a pic of the whole band.

In this picture of the whole band, what did you do about the white balance ? It looks OK to me ...
