Went on a 3-day boat trip into the Sundarbans when I was in Bangladesh. Saw just about every animal there except for a Bengal Tiger. The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world, with 60% of it in Bangladesh and 40% in India. It is (pleasantly) surprisingly well protected, and there is even very little garbage for this part of the world. There are no permanent settlements within the park but there are seasonal fishermen, honey collectors, etc. The tigers in this place actively hunt humans and many people are killed each year. We weren't in any real danger though.
Not being from there, I don't really know what many of the birds are.

If you're interersted in seeing some of the humans in this area, I posted them in this thread: http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/people-photography/354718-fishing-bangladesh.html
