Wow, that is gorgeous. Likes like a Turner painting, if that tree wasn't on the left. I would have not let that in the frame but it's still wonderful.

It was -12C and that was as far out as I was going. LOL I haven't dug out my winter clothes yet.

I like it as-shot, tree and all; for me, the tree gives a sense of scale,and depth, and helps me to judge the size and distance of the elements within the scene, plus the tree has snow on it...so..the tree's gotta be included.

Thank you for your comments. It was one of those fluke events. We had a storm go through, dropping about a foot of snow, then the sky cleared and the temp dropped. The mist off the lake was incredible.
