Sunset in the Shuswaps

Took this while houseboating in the Shuswaps. I love that lake.

This is a cracker. I love the colours and the composition is great too. If you've got a big enough file you could also try a landscape crop to include just the brighter part of the sky and some of the lake...water horizon about 1/3 up. You would then have two great shots from one.

I agree with Mike - I would like to see the landscape view too. But the colors are really great - I love the contrast of orange and blue.

I love the Shuswaps, I don't remember seeing sunsets this nice when I was there...come to think about it, I don't remember much from my trips there. :cheers:

Haha, you and me both. When I took this I couldn't figure out how to get my camera to RAW (which I shoot in ALL THE TIME) so I just shot it in JPEG. In hindsight, probably not the best idea to take out my camera at that point.

Good call on the landscape crop. I'll give that a shot.
