Jet contrails reflecting off of wet sand during a Pismo Beach sunset:

The kids were swinging on the swings on the beach when I took this one...must be nice to be a kid, swinging on a swing, while watching sunsets like this...

While the colours are stronger in #2 and you included the sun in that one, I still like composition of #1 more. The lines make it so deep!

Though I agree with LaFoto about the composition of the first better than the second I like the second better because of the colors. That's a pretty picture.
