Can others edit my Photos

Hey all, my first attempts at a steel wool spin. Went pretty well.. but I want to improve on them. I have a friend who is also a photographer, and he is very interested in doing more of these with me.. so there will be many more this summer.

Which one do you prefer? Why?

Anyone done these and have any advice for how to improve them? Any tips/tricks?

Thanks for looking!

Nice set i prefer the second one as it has more sparks was it your friend doing it?

Nevr mind on second look number one is my favorite because of the sparks covering the ground right at the edge of the water

I think I like #2 best as well, but do like the sparks on the rocks in #1. The reason they aren't there in #2 is that he turned his back on me.

Yeah, my friend was spinning this time. Next time I'll spin and he'll shoot. This was challenging because he was about 100 yards away and we had to communicate by cell phone to make it work.

#1 love darker tone, and composition is more pleasing

but I do think that composition in both could be better

So, here goes. I like the crop of #2 better being a little closer. I like the darker sky of number one for better contrast. I like the rocks of #2 better in that the sparks don't pool there and create hotspots like they do in #1. I like the sharper outline of the person in #1 (little thing, but I did notice it).

Thanks! That's essentially how I feel. We plan on going back to improve on this shot eventually, but we can only do 1-2 quick spins and get out because it's a very public area.
