Sunsets Time, C&C are welcome

Hmm, number one is definitely the better photo IMO. Better composition, and better use of the light. However, I'm more distracted by what the person is doing, rather than the actual person and the sunset. Perhaps it would have been better to just have someone leaning against the railing or wall, relaxing in the sunset?

Still, a good photo!
 
Were these hand held or on a tripod? They're both underexposed but you could fix that relatively easily. If you don't have a tripod, you can set it on a wall, chair, or any other solid object.
