another dog shot. this one is a 6 month old great dane named surf. i loved the animation in this one, just wanted your opinion.

I love this photo and wish I could capture my dog this way (he's nothing if not animated) Can you give some details on how it was shot?

sure, there were actually two of them, sadie and surf, and we just let them run around the studio. this one was shot when they were both playing with each other. we find it best to give the dogs at least a half hour to get accustomed to the new environment and encourage the owners to bring things the dogs like, like treats and favourite toys. and then we all play with them so they can get used to us too since we're the ones with the cameras in their faces.
