Surfing shot. Please critique.....

I thought it was interesting that there was a guy painting away while people were riding barrels. Each in there own worlds doing what they love on a near perfect day.

Thoughts?

1/1250 shutter, f5.6 and ISO 200 @ 200mm

I like the image, but I think it would have benefited greatly from the use of a CPOL, and perhaps a slight WB adjustment; it seems just a little blue to me.

Thanks tirediron I noticed that in the white wash but I had trouble correcting it. Sorry new to photography what is CPOL? I'll try adjusting it again.

It's a circular polarizer, and it will cut down on polarized light (reflections, essentially) and increase contrast and color saturation. It's typically essential for these types of shots (water, in general).

Thanks Jake I actually bought one yesterday but didn't know it went by that acronym. I have not tried it yet though.

idea is quite good, but the realisation not so.... would have like to have the front guy in focus, and PP looks a bit to me
