I love the play of warm vs cool colors in 1 but I feel that its a little dark. The broken down wagon in 2 creates a great focal point. I think I'd up the DOF to get the mountains in the background in focus too.

I too like the contrast between warm and cool colors in 1. I wish the sled tracks weren't there, but you can't really do anything about that and capture the shed, too.

While the broken down wagon in 2 is a nice picture in itsself, I feel it blends too much with the background and doesn't become the focal point anymore.
