Here are some pictures from a visit to a Swedish Air Force 'Aeroseum' bunker. During the cold war it was calved out of solid rock from a mountain and is over 100 feet below ground surface.

OMG Tim, SAAB's SAAB's and more SAAB's
Man those shots are sexy.

I thought it would take a lot to beat those shots we got at Yeovilton at 801 sqn but I think you've done it

Thanks for the kind comments guys. The site consists of two shelters measuring around 30000 sqm metres in total. It was built as a protective air base in case of nuclear attack. It is near Goteborg (Gota F9 wing).

I didnt notice the sheep seat covers at the time, but id imagine come winter they keep the pilots very warm and cosy! More Swedish air force related pictures on the way soon.
