Swimming from yesterday

My life finally lined up with the swimming schedule and shot a meet yesterday. Most shots with the 70-200, a few wider with the 24-70 2.8. On camera speedlite as a master and a second one off camera about 3/4 up the length of the pool. ISO 800 @ 1/250, down to 1/125 and f8 for some of the wider shots at the start of races. Posting a dozen with different looks from through out the meet.

You are on the action ok but personally I really dislike flash filled swimming, it makes everything look fake. A good buddy of mine used to light the entire pool from the cat walk, back in the film days, and his stuff all looked the same. I tried doing it for a few races and was told by my client not to use a flash as they wouldn't use any of it, for the same reason.
