Switching to Digital need advice.

I'm currently using Hikon N90s with nikkor 24-120 lens and I'm debating: should I buy D70s kit which includes 28-80 or 18-70 lens. I heard these are new lenses with internal autofocus design for digital cameras (made in china?). Or to buy a used D1 or D1H body and keep my old 24-120 lens. Any advice will be greatly appreciate it. I'm not planning on enlargment of my photos. Thanks.

Whatever you do, don't go for the 28-80. It's just not a very good lens. The 18-70 is fantastic, though there's a bit more distortion at 18 that I would like. Other than that, you can't lose. I don't really know much about the 24-120, but I'm sure someone around these parts can let you know.

Have you considered a D50? More of an entry level camera, but newer than the D70...so it has new technology.
