I like it also, nice conversion.
I do have some problem wondering what I should look at, what is the center of interest and why isn't it more obvious?

I don't mind being challenged as to meaning but, tbh, I can't find any part of the image that is more interesting or more important than the other.:er:

Sorry, I don't get too interested in things without interest.

You may think there is some sort of intellectual point to that kind of photo, I don't.

I like it but as already mentioned my eyes wander all over the frame. Processing is cool.

I think its great. Ive grown quite bored with the trend that everything must have just one object drawing attention. I love the look like you could just walk right into the picture.

I totally agree with The_Traveler. The conversion is nice but the photo pretty much sucks.

I also happen to agree with you (the OP) that there doesn't always need to be a point. At the same time, how can you challenge the viewer when/if there is no point? Not having a point needs to have a point.

This is the old story about breaking rules (I like to call them guidelines.) Rules are meant to be broken. But not just to break them. There's got to be a reason to break them. And it needs to be understandable by a few people. If you are the only one who understands what rule you broke or why, the exercise is pretty pointless. Isn't it?
