Tack sharp avatar, how to?

I uploaded it to this site as my new avatar. Then I tried it a bit bigger. It doesn't appear sharp enough to read the print on it. You can click my "stuff link" and see it really is quite sharp. What can be done to get it legible?

I searched the site in vain.

At only 100 x 100 pixels there is not much that can be done.

You could try increasing the mid-tone contrast some.

It looks pretty good to me. I agree with KmH - there isn't a whole lot you can do at 100x100 pixels. Just be glad that it looks as good as it does, lol.
