Tamanawas Falls

I manage to take some more picture this weekend and followed most of the feedback from folks here.
One of the things I tried was to take multiple shots of objects and get it dialed in more in camera and less in Lightroom.

OP- I dont mind the waterfall being in the center of this picture. It is not a bad shot by any means, I like how you made the water look. I like it!

That's auto correct for you.

I like the image also I just think it would be more powerful not having it be centered.

They both feel "gloomy" rather than "mysteriously dark" or whatever. It feels like a miserable day, or possibly just underexposed, not like a secret glen deep in the forest. I don't know what to do to fix that. Warm up the colors? Saturate the green more? Something.

The entire picture looks like an ND shot. The colors are balanced on a sunny(or looks to be sunny) day, with the water smoothing effects. Hints towards an NDS filter (or really good post processing).. but I'd lean more towards an ND filter being used.
