I have posted in a few other forums but have not received a response thus far. I am looking for a shoulder case that will hold my D50 with the Nikkor 70-300mm G lens attached.
The case I am considering is the Tamrac Travel Zoom 5 case which can supposedly take a camera with a lens that is 4.5 inches long and the 70-300mm lens is 4.6 inches long according to Nikon. Sounds like a tight fit but if anyone has tried this combination I would greatly like to hear if it was a success or a failure.
