I have an older Rollei 35mm SLR with the customary 50mm Planar and an extra 90mm/f2.5 Macrro SP Tamron. Since I shoot a Canon D5 I ordered a Rollei to Canon EF adapter from the internet and can hardly wait to do some macro photo!:thumbup:

Anyone has had the experience of the Tamron 90mm/f2.5 Macro lens? Any thoughts?
 
Yes... A little while ago, I decided to play around with a budget Macro setup. I did some research and asking around. The Tamron 90mm f/2.5 macro is an adaptall mount lens came up from several sources as an optically excellent macro. I eventually purchased one and sure enough.. they were all right. There is a teleconverter specifically designed for the lens that brings the magnification from 1:2 to 1:1.
