I think that I have this thing figured out, lets see

Well I'm halfway there, now how do I resize this for viewing. I did the resize on the site where their stored, is there something that I'm missing ?

If you need the image resized, you will need some kind of photo program like photoshop or Iphoto or something to resize it. Then, you would save it to a host site like Photobucket or Flickr. Photobucket does have an option for different sizes on their site, but be aware that if the image was 100X100 pixels to begin with and you save it as 800X800 on Photobucket it will look pixelated.
