The orange is a nice contrast. More of a question to the more experienced, It was suggested to me to be careful of the background item (like the mailbox post) growing out of the back of the subject. Would it be better to have the youngster a couple feet away and avoid the mailbox?

I usually don't have the camera when it would be nice to take a shot. I like the snowman watching from the background
