A really old one, 1975 or 76. Probably shot on Tri-X Pan, neg scanned on an Epson V600, full frame scan. Shot on Nikkormat, 50MM 1.4, f stop and ss lost to time.

Thanks, I'll look at trying to bring that out more.

Funny thing though, back when I first shot this, I printed it very dark, much more than this on a high matt finish paper. I loved that really dark matt look back in the day. Still do I guess. lol

Edit: This one is +50 on the shadows in LRC.

Better but a touch more lift in the dark bits IMHO. Still a good shot.Toronto alleys--usually called laneways--are probably the cleanest in N. America.
