The best way to test a new lens and flash

I decided to get a Macro lens in Canon mount and found a Sigma 150mm F2.8 APO Macro DG (Non OS) and also got a Yongnuo YN 600EX-RT because I'm too cheap to but a Canon model, lol.. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the yongnuo flash. Pretty hefty and quick recycle time..

Looks great but I think you pissed the cat off by the looks of the second shot.Maybe a offering of a smoke may smooth things over.Actually I think the food shot came out well.

I use to have a red or orange tiger Cat lived about 16 years weight about 15 pounds. He was always temperamental though and If I pet him a little longer then he liked he would rip his nails in me hard.

Kris, very nice shots. Looks like you have a winning combo there. I like the second one of the cat. It has that look of disdain to it as if the cat is saying - "Now what do you think you are going to do with that camera?", although the first one could read - "You didn't tell me there would be a flash!" Good luck with the new combo - looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks DS, The kitty is pretty moody, but he loves me. OTOH, he tends to be quite aggressive towards my G/F and she rescued him and feeds him. I'm not even a cat person, lol...

Thanks WG, He hates it when I pick up my camera. Hell he even gets jealous of my phone, he is very needy for attention. I am pleasantly surprised with the cheap O flash and the Sigma 150 isn't too shabby for the price I snagged it for...

I only buy Sushi grade tuna, and most people order it very rare. This was an actual dish I served that I didn't stylize or anything.

Forget the Tuna,Mako Shark Blackened or Cajun.I had a few chance's to bite into a Shark haha and it was so good.
