TPF Noob!
An unexpected "blizzard" passed through at school tonight. It was really only an inch or so on the grassy areas, but it's the most snow I've ever seen down here.
I know the second one is blown out at the top of the chapel, and the color seems to be off. I've never been able to take pictures well at night (no tripod) and particularly in the snow. I don't know what it is, but the colors always seem to be off, which is the reason the first one is so desaturated. Can anyone give me any tips for getting accurate color at night/in snow and for avoiding the blown out pictures in the snow?
Any help would be great,
OK to edit,
Thanks for looking,
Andrea
