I agree with frequency. With so much sky in the images you need more detail there and a bit more contrast.

The second image I like the best but it looks a bit washed out without the contrast added. If you bring the brightness down and the contrast up then adjust the highlights and midtones you can really bring out the sky and some nice detail. I was able to get the sky to really show itself against the pier. You nailed the composition for the images. It's just some tonal changes that need to be adjusted.
