Really....two comments, actually one comment and one like but Aloicious should like it as it was shot with his old D800... This is a good, detailed image with nice bokeh, good highlighting and sidelight detail. In fact, the detail is pretty dang sharp all the way around and it shows what most people appreciate an Anhinga for, sunning it's wings. Sooooooooooo????? Oh, and it's naked. That ought to be worth a comment or two.

Very nice, a female I believe. I find it very interesting that a bird that spends so much of its time in the water chasing small fish and other aquatic wildlife, does not have "waterproof" or at least good "water resistant" feathers and they have to spend time drying them. One advantage for us - we can get lots of nice pics while they are doing this as they generally tend to stay still in one spot. I am curious where this one was shot.
