Nice shot, and shocking. That's a sidalcea, same family as holyhocks and equally susceptible to hollyhock rust (fungus). I can't say I've ever seen one mature and in bloom that wasn't afflicted at least a little -- (usually a lot). Is this in a well kept garden where the owner has fungicide and isn't afraid to use it?
