Saw this über cool dog in a street of Haarlem (NL) this afternoon and it really made my day :lol:

What lens and camera was used for this shot?

Is he in a sidecar?

Thanks for the commments :D

@DScience
With my trusty old Canon 350d and my favorite lense; the Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II

I shot this at f1.8 - 1/4000 because I wanted to get as much bokeh as possible in the background (very busy street) and the fastest possible shutterspeed (doggy was not sitting very still). So I was lucky that he was sitting in the shade :)

This IS one cool dog all right! :D
And he was riding his bike (erm ... sitting in the side car of his owner's bike)?
Those actually are swimming goggles, aren't they. Heehee, the ideas that some people have!
That 50mm 1.8 gave you as much DOF (still) at f1.8?
With mine I feel I'm getting blurred ears already (given the eyes are in focus) at that wide open aperture...

I was shooting from about 2 meters distance and I admit I cropped it a little bit. I focussed on his eyes. His ears and the tip of his nose are out of focus but you can't really tell from a 600x400 jpg.

Btw, he is sitting in a basket on the back of a moped :mrgreen:

LOL, nice one
