The Cygnus Wall within the North American Nebula (NGC 7000)! This is a well known, very bright area within the North American Nebula that has some dramatic gas formations. I wanted to see how this one came out in an HOO color palette. I rather like it! Aside from being visually pleasing in this color palette, it also tells us some important information. The filter I used only allows light through that is in wave lengths associated with hydrogen and oxygen. This means the colors in the image are associated with those specific gasses. The golden color is the hydrogen gas and the blue color is oxygen. SCIENCE!
