At 282 ft below sea level, Death Valleys Badwater Basin is one of the lowest points in the northern hemisphere with the second highest temperature ever recorded 134 f.

Hey, it's a wintertime National Park - get out there and take some pictures..

Very cool take. I am not digging the surreal sky though.

That is a very good unusual photograph I love the composition of the floor the hills in the background and that really nice sky. Is that snow or very cold dry desert? (Like that salty stuff? Sorry I am Manx )

The sky is untouched except for the use of a polarizer. You can even see a dust storm at the north end of the valley over Mesquite Dunes as the wind was blowing.... It's pretty typical of the Desert sky in the late summertime

Here is another untouched sky............. I've got thousands of them...

Very Rockwellian (search page for "Badwater").

Cool shots nonetheless. Must be a fun place to explore with the camera.
