That's a very cute dog. Both shots are quite good, although I like the one where the dog has your camera strap.

Cute pooch! When you're shooting portraits (whether two or four-legged) watch your composition and try and avoid cropping off 'bits' such as the lower jaw in the left image and the tail in the right one. In both cases a vertical or portrait orientation might have helped eliminate the issue.
